The Luxembourg association Catch a Smile was created in 2016 after organising a first convoy of clothes and sleeping bags to refugees in Serbia and Croatia in 2015.
The association works with international organisations on the spot or local people and supports refugees in camps but also refugees who do not benefit from international protection and who live on the street or in unofficial camps.
Majany supported Catch a Smile’s partner on the Greek island of Samos, the organisation JUST ACTION, a food shop that prepares and distributes food packs to refugees and locals who have been through a lot. Majany’s donation enabled the distribution of 500 food and hygiene packages. Another donation helped victims of sexual violence (especially single-parent families).
