Since the beginning of the year, Majany has been organising, in collaboration with the Luxembourg consul in Phuket, Mr Claude Baltes, the distribution of food for most people in need in Phuket. Covid has hit hard this country whose main income and therefore the main employer are provided by the trade of goods and the tourism industry. The pandemia has stopped these activities and as direct consequence has even more pushed to poverty a population that has already been struggling for life before.
