The donations that have been collected have been used to finance the construction of the terrace of the social restaurant in Hollerich. So far, the terrace has been used for various activities in the summer, such as film evenings, BBQ days and afternoons with various play activities.
The concern of covid-19 this year is that the number of visits has decreased during the lockdown, mainly due to the tightened sanitary rules.
The terrace, which is now covered and heated, is now also used in winter to welcome the restaurant’s customers and thus increase the capacity. The terrace can therefore remain a place of relaxation and social exchange between visitors all year round. It offers more dignity and comfort and a warmer welcome, especially with the arrival of winter.
